ITS Canada and ITS America held a joint reception on the North American stand on October 26. ITS Canada also hosted a “by invitation only” workshop on October 27 on Canadian technologies for global interests, to increase the profile of Canadian technologies and systems.
Thanks to the support of the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Transport Canada and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (both in Ottawa and at the Embassy in Seoul).
Canadian speakers featured prominently in the World Congress program, and included Bern Grush (Skymeter), Bowen Tritter and Richard Chylinski (both of Delcan Corporation), Rish Malhotra (International Road Dynamics), and Tony Qiu (University of Alberta). Session moderators included Susan Spencer (Transport Canada), Scott Stewart (IBI Group), and Carl Kuhnke (ITS Canada). For a full list of Canadian participants and their roles, please contact the Secretariat.
Members participating in the exhibit stand included Delcan Corporation, IBI Group, International Road Dynamics and Skymeter. All members were invited to have ITS Canada provide printed materials to stand visitors throughout the Congress, along with logos prominently displayed on the main front panel of the stand.
