In 2009, Global News began developing a national series on transportation and gridlock. The first segment, aired on Global’s evening broadcast on September 13, 2009, was very well done and provided excellent promotion for the field of ITS in general. The segment included interviews, including ITS Canada's Executive Director, as well as information incorporating vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian developments. The second segment, aired on Global in the Vancouver area in late November 2009, highlights TransLink's initiatives. Click the links above to view the videos.
