Find out what groups such as ITS Canada’s Membership Committee are actively contributing to the Society and the industry

Business opportunities through both outbound and inbound trade missions and exhibitions, including international opportunities – ITS Canada contacts provide opportunities to develop relationships both in Canada and internationally which may benefit you or your organization
Architecture development – ITS Canada provides training on the framework developed to allow the industry to speak in common terms and language – allows your organization to jump start into the industry
Standards development – ITS Canada provides updates on standards development, which facilitate communication between devices and sub-systems, and identifies for manufacturers the protocols common to the industry

Seminars, workshops – members benefit from reduced registration fees (ITS Canada member rate) and from information provided at these events, with the opportunity to meet with colleagues to gain exposure for your organization and to share your expertise

Interest groups and task forces – members with common interests join together to form a committee which meets to develop goals and to collaborate towards a positive outcome – one example is the Export Development Committee which sources opportunities outside Canada
Government liaison – opportunities to participate in presentations to local, provincial or national government representatives in order to build a case for ITS
World Congress – an international meeting of ITS industry representatives, held annually – ITS Canada typically hosts a booth at World Congresses and members are invited to participate
Keep abreast of industry developments – ITS Canada is the focal point for ITS development in Canada, and shares important news via our e-mail distribution list
Announcements – spread the news about your organization’s achievements through our newsletter – press releases and updates
