As announced in the November 2002 newsletter, collection of information about existing Intelligent Transportation Systems deployments in Canada has been completed, and an inventory of deployments has been published.

The inventory was generated by surveying consulting firms, manufacturers and public agencies. The survey asked public agencies to register with appropriate contact information and fill out a detailed questionnaire for each deployed ITS project. Consultants and manufacturers were asked to provide a list of Canadian ITS projects that they have been involved with, including basic information such as the title of the project, the name of the client and, if possible, a contact name at the client organization.
