Public sector authorities from around the world present their upcoming needs on Procurement Day, one of the most valuable days of the year for mobility companies.

If your company is involved in intelligent transportation in any way, then there’s one smart way you can learn about dozens of government contracts that will be offered in the coming weeks and months: Procurement Day at ITS World Congress 2017. Government agencies from around the world, including the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, come here to share their upcoming business opportunities—and you can hear first-hand about all of the technology, transportation, automotive and telecommunications solutions they’re looking for in one efficient day. This is the only central place where you’ll gain access to agencies all at once—saving significant research time and effort.

Each agency will host a 45-minute presentation outlining the details about its future procurements, allowing private sector companies to learn where opportunities exist within the countries, states, regions or cities. Each presentation will be followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.

Up to 23 rooms will be dedicated to this special event feature, and multiple agencies will be presenting during the same time period, so companies should be prepared to attend multiple meetings, as interest allows. Handout material is the option of the specific agencies, and the meetings will not be video recorded.

The intent of Procurement Day is to optimize investment dollars and advance private sector business development research while allowing government agencies to communicate their future needs, identify potential new partners and maximize the possibility of finding ideal solutions for their locales.

Procurement Day is November 2, 2017, from 8 a.m.–10 a.m. Companies often bring multiple staff members to cover all relevant presentations, and many past participants report that this one event is the main reason why they attend ITS World Congress.

All participants of Procurement Day must be registered for ITS World Congress 2017. If you haven’t registered yet, make sure to do it today!
