ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT!

Half of ITS Canada's current Board of Directors is up for election in 2015.  The election will be held in early April 2015, with results confirmed by the members at the Annual General Meeting May 24th in Gatineau, Quebec. You are invited to be part of the team that will influence and guide the future of ITS in Canada. We are moving ahead in exciting times, and your input, whether as a Board or Committee member, is critical. It is particularly important that we attract senior industry leaders to our Board as we approach the ITS World Congress, scheduled to be held in Montreal in October 2017 !  Please consider providing your skills to serve your industry.

Nominations for Directors are underway with this announcement. The closing date will be Thursday, April 2, 2015.

Individual, Academic, Municipal, Corporate and Sustaining Corporate Members in good standing are invited to email their nominations to ITS Canada using the Nomination Forms below.  Nominations must include the signatures of two nominators as well as the candidate, and a short candidate biography as per the guidelines below. We encourage you to include previous ITS industry and ITS Canada experience. One of the nominators may be one of the official listed contacts of the same member organization as the candidate. This is not a requirement. Both nominators must also be members in good standing of ITS Canada.

Please note that Corporate and Sustaining Corporate Members with 5 votes may indicate to the Secretariat that either the primary contact will vote all 5 ballots, or that others within that company share in those 5 votes. If that is the case, we will require their individual email addresses, as the voting will be done online. The Primary Contact is required to provide the information to us by email, by April 15th latest.  If we are not notified of your intent in this regard by then, we will assume that the Primary contact will vote all 5 of their ballots as one.

Completed nomination forms and biographies should be emailed (MS Word format) to askus@itscanada.ca, attention: Mr. Chris Philp, Chair of Nominations 2015.

The slate of candidates will be announced immediately following closing of nominations on Thursday April 2nd, and a 15-day campaign period will close on Friday, April 17th. An online election process will follow, with balloting ending on or about Friday, May 8th.
