ITS Canada is pleased to introduce Mr. Ian Steele P.Eng. as our new Board Chair & CEO, effective June 1, 2019. He was appointed during a Board meeting in May, succeeding Mr. Chris Philp who served as Chair since 2016.

Ian, a Managing Principal and Professional Electrical Engineer with PBX Engineering, has been involved in ITS for more than 23 years. He has served on the Board of Directors for since 2016 and most recently served on the Board Executive as Treasurer. As Chair & CEO, he will now guide the Association through the process of a new Strategic Plan. 

As Ian noted “Chris has done an exemplary job as Chairman and CEO and he is the consummate professional and represented ITS Canada admirably during a very successful ITS WC 2017 which ITS Canada co-organized.” Chris remains as a Director of ITS Canada and a member of the Executive Committee.

2019 and 2020 are exciting years for ITS Canada with the 2019 ITS Canada TAC Joint Conference & Exhibit in Halifax and ITS Canada 2020, June 14-17 in Edmonton.
