"ITS Today: Technologies Across Ontario" Workshop

ITS Canada and the OTC have joined to offer this one-day workshop which will look at the role ITS Technologies play in Smart Cities and where are we with respect to the deployment of Connected and Automated Vehicle Technologies in Ontario. The morning session is dedicated to ITS in smart cities and the afternoon session covers topics related to autonomous and connected vehicles technologies and initiatives. This workshop is set up in the form of panel presentations and discussions attended by experts from the public sector, academia, consulting, and industry. The keynote presenter is Dr. Brendon Hemily who will talk about recent advances in ITS and public transit right after the lunch. The workshop will be concluded by a short tour of WatCAR labs and facilities..
