1. GRAND SUMMIT MEETING: As co-sponsor to the event, the City of Toronto will be chairing a Summit Meeting, and is seeking public sector speakers willing to participate in the meeting. The Summit meeting will explicitly focus on giving provincial and municipal agencies the opportunity to share in their latest transportation/transit technology and innovation endeavours. While the speakers for this meeting will be restricted to government agencies, this will be an open door meeting - public and private agencies or companies may attend.
Government agencies considering to become a part of the agenda should ensure that topics being discussed are public in nature and that there is no concern with respect to privacy or confidentiality. If your government agency is interested or willing to be a part of the agenda, please submit a brief paragraph describing the transportation/transit technology/innovation endeavour you’d like to share, as well as your name and title for consideration, below. Please note that given the timeframe allotted for the meeting that we may not be able to include all submissions on the formal agenda; your abstract will be considered for merit and technical interest by the organizing committee. All submissions must be received by Oct 10, 2023. All speakers must be registered to attend the event. We expect the event to be sold-out; please register early.
Speaker abstracts for the Grand Summit Meeting will also be considered by the LOC for other speaking positions / panelists in this event.
