Since 2018, ITS Canada’s Education Committee has organized an interactive activity bringing together experts from different sectors with the aim of fostering collaborations and partnerships. Such collaborations remain necessary to optimize emerging and innovative ITS developments in Canada. Discussions and presentations have taken place by members from the academic, private and municipal sectors highlighting concerns and issues around topics such as data privacy and availability, future traffic models in a context of CAV deployment.
The main objective of ITS Education Days is to identify and develop the first stages of building a continuous process that will allow ITS experts from different sectors to optimize the research, development and deployment of emerging ITS technologies.
