ITS Young Professional Award

  • Nominated individual must be a member of ITS Canada
  • Nominee must be under 40 years of age at the time of the application and has practiced in the ITS area for at least 5 years.
  • Individuals must be nominated and seconded on the Nomination Form by ITS Canada members from two separate organizations.
  • The Nominee's employer firm/agency/institution should provide a "Nominee Profile" (a picture with up to 500 words) using the submission form below.  This can include examples of where the nominee excelled in their application of ITS and how they are helping the broader public in transportation initiatives.
  • Second Nominator must provide few words (up to 250 words) about the Nominee using the submission form below.
  • The employer of the individual nominated must indicate their consent to support the nominee for costs to register and attend the ITS Canada 2020 should they be selected for the award.
  • Nominee cannot nominate him/herself.
  • "Nominee profile" should include:
    • Specific Selection Criteria
      • ITS Industry/Business Contributions
        • The nominee has contributed to the advancement of the ITS through direct involvement in ITS initiatives related to projects and/or business activities and demonstrated influential associations with the ITS industry and professional community.
      • Professional Accomplishments
        • The nominee has made outstanding contributions to their own firm/agency/institution and successfully worked in association with other partners.
        • The nominee's work and dedication as related to ITS is recognized outside of their own firm/agency/institution.
        • The nominee has established good relationships within their own firm/agency/institution and with the ITS industry.
        • The nominee practices good management techniques and has demonstrated this on ITS related projects and with clients or with their own firm/agency/institution.
      • Community Contribution
        • The nominee contributes time and effort to voluntary activities within their local community.
  • Award winner must be committed to receiving the award on Monday June 15, 2020
