The Region of Durham and Durham Region Transit (DRT) are launching a challenge to innovators and businesses under the theme of Connected and Smart Mobility:

"We challenge the business community to provide a detection and communication system for transit stops that enables DRT to understand passenger behaviour at transit stops and improve overall customer experience. Successful challenge participants can pilot solutions at key transit stops throughout the network."
