  • Half of ITS Canada's current Board of Directors is up for election in 2017.  The election will be held in May, with results confirmed by the members at the Annual General Meeting June 22, 2017 via teleconference. 

  • The 2017 ITS World Congress Montreal has been highlighted in ITS International.

  • The Chair of ITS Canada’s Student Essay Awards Committee, Mr. Michael Bailey, is pleased to announce the launch of the 2017 ITS Canada Student Essay Awards. The contest is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who are undergraduate and/or graduate students registered at a Canadian university in a program related to intelligent transportation. Essays should address the topic “Integrated Mobility in Smart Cities”. 

  • Australia’s position as a global leader in transport technology just got stronger. The Australian Government has today awarded iMOVE CRC, a new intelligent transport cooperative research centre, a $55 million grant for a ten year research and development project.
